
Islington Council has confirmed it will close two of the borough’s primary schools in August amid a deepening educating crisis in London.
Parents, children and teachers from St Jude and St Paul’s and Highbury Quadrant, determined to “save their schools”, marched to the Town Hall on Thursday evening (April 24) ahead of a cabinet meeting where plans first announced in November were waved through.
