Two more councils set for cleansing worker strike action after Edinburgh bin row

The cleansing workers strike has already resulted in rubbish piling up on the streets in Edinburgh

PLANNED strikes of waste and recycling workers in 15 Scottish councils are scheduled to continue as unions consider the latest offer from COSLA.

And waste workers represented by Unite and GMB in Highland and Inverclyde councils have now announced the dates of their industrial action.
