Well, this one might be a little controversial. Two Michigan State hockey players were honored with All-Big Ten selections on Tuesday, but only one of them made the First Team: Artyom Levshunov, the Spartans extremely talented freshman defenseman.
That’s not the one that may be controversial. What will be divisive is the fact that MSU goalie Trey Augustine was named to the Second Team, losing out on the First Team spot to Wisconsin goalie Kyle McClellan.
Both players were named to the All-Freshman team, as you’d expect.
