PSNI officers are appealing for witnesses after an explosive device detonated on the doorstep of a house in Belfast late last night, causing substantial damage.
Police raced to the property in Kinnegar Road, Finaghy, South Belfast, following the explosion shortly after midnight. Police South Belfast said that there were no reports of any injuries at this time.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen two men spotted leaving the area. They were wearing all-black clothing and left along Benmore Drive towards Mount Aboo Park.

Officers remained in the area to carry out further enquiries and they ask anybody with any information to call police at Lisburn Road on 101, quoting reference number 12 22/07/22.
