TWO men have been found dead in a property in Glasgow over the weekend as police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Police were called to a property in Chancellor Street, Partick, at around 4.40pm on Sunday following reports of two men having sustained serious injuries.

Emergency services attended but the two men, aged 50 and 54, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the deaths are being treated as unexplained and that post-mortem examinations will be carried out in due course.

The families of the two men have been made aware.

The force said enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing and that anyone with any information have been urged to contact police.

Detective Chief Inspector Jen McCulloch said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the two men who have died, and they are being supported at this difficult time.

“We understand this will be concerning for the local community but please be assured we are working hard to establish the full circumstances of what has happened.

“Officers will remain in the area while our investigation continues and anyone with any concerns, or information, can approach them.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1386 of Sunday, August 16, 2026.
