Two men have died in a motorway horror crash on Friday night (February 3), police have confirmed.
The two fatalities came following a crash on the M57 between a car and a lorry. Merseyside Police have said they are investigating the collision which happened in Kirkby.
Emergency services were contacted at 9.10pm following reports a Seat car had been in collision with an HGV close to junction 6 on the southbound carriageway. Following the collision, the driver and one of the passengers in the car, both men in their 20s and from the Kirkby area, were pronounced dead at the scene.
