The two men charged in relation to the disappearance of Melbourne teenager Isla Bell have been named.
Bell, 19, was reported missing after she left her Brunswick home at around 6pm on October 4. On Wednesday this week, police announced that three men were arrested after human remains had been discovered at a tip in Dandenong. Although the remains are yet to be formally identified, police suspect the remains belong to Bell.
Marat Ganiev, 53, appeared in Melbourne’s Magistrates’ court yesterday. He was charged with murdering Bell in St Kilda on October 7. Eyal Yaffe, 57, was charged with assisting an offender (murder).

A 63-year-old Mulgrave man who was arrested by police has been released, pending further enquiries.
According to news.com.au, court documents allege that Bell’s final moments were captured on CCTV. The footage showed her entering Ganiev’s St Kilda apartment at around 9:30pm on October 5. She was not seen leaving.
Speaking to The Age, Bell’s mother Justine Spokes paid tribute to her daughter.
“Cherished forever and suffering no more,” she said.
“I am so sorry I could not protect you, that your experience of the world was cruel and unsafe. Despite your challenges, you lived bravely, stood up for what was right and remained the kindest human, the gentlest soul … With the deepest love and respect, your Mumma.”
