Two men have been arrested in connection with shootings in Stockport and south Manchester. Investigations were launched after shots were fired at the DRIP burger bar in Burnage and on Wilmslow Road in Stockport in April this year.
Early morning raids were carried out by police in Failsworth and Crumpsall on Wednesday (June 21) before two men, aged 28, were arrested and taken into custody to be quizzed by detectives.
Firearms officers and the Tactical Aid Unit attended, with one man arrested at his home and the other at a hotel following what police have called an 'intensive' investigation.
