Two men have been arrested on drug possession offences in Sefton.
A 50-year-old man from Litherland has been arrested after he was found in possession of "numerous" wraps of crack cocaine and heroin. He was spotted by officers on quad bikes whilst walking through Rimrose Valley Park.
After his arrest, a nearby property was searched and a second man, 52, was also arrested for drug possession offenses. Operation Pelican is an ongoing police campaign and was launched in 2017 to combat the drug trade and gang violence in Bootle, Netherton, Litherland, and the surrounding areas.
