Two killers who stabbed a man to death in Carlisle before fleeing to Scotland have been caged.
Kane Hull, 29, and Liam Porter, 33, have been jailed after the brutal attack on Ryan Kirkpatrick on September 18 last year. Ryan had been at a christening before Hull, who was with Porter, had tried to assault Mr Kirkpatrick with a glass.
The duo then left Carlyle's Court in the city before returning around 15 minutes later with their faces covered as Hull ran towards Mr Kirkpatrick and stabbed him multiple times. As reported by LancsLive, Hull and Porter then fled and, despite the best efforts of people nearby as well as police and paramedics, Mr Kirkpatrick died of his injuries.
