Two people were left injured after a huge blaze broke out at a converted house in Woolwich.
Sixty firefighters and eight engines raced to the scene after the blaze erupted in a second-floor flat on Saturday at around 3.52am. Crews from Plumstead, Greenwich, and East Greenwich were quickly on the scene.
Two people received treatment from London Ambulance Service at the scene.
Firefighters used a 32-metre turntable ladder as an observation tower to combat the flames from above. The fire was brought under control by 5.22 am.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
