Glasgow's thriving food scene continues to go from strength to strength.
Last year we celebrated the city's first Michelin Star in 18 years with the success of chef Lorna McNee and her talented team at Cail Bruich.
And today brings further good news for the city as Michelin has announced its new Bib Gourmand-anointed restaurants for 2022.

Of the 16 in total across the UK, two food spots from Glasgow have been given the distinction, a testament to the strength of the city's hospitality sector - adding their names to the highly vaunted list are Glasgow's Celentano's and Ka Pao.
Italian kitchen Celentano’s set up in the historic Cathedral House Hotel just last year and it wasn't long before Grace Dent raved about the place in The Guardian.
As we described in our recent round-up of Glasgow's most talked about restaurants of 2021, Celentano's has "excellent wine on tap, little plates to nibble on together and some of the best pasta dishes in Glasgow right now - it’s pricey, but it’s well worth the bill."
Meanwhile, we haven't stopped recommending Ka Pao as a must-visit restaurant since it opened at the start of 2020.
Featuring prominently in our list of Top 50 Restaurants in Glasgow, we've said of the beautiful South East Asian-inspired venue: "The team behind Ox and Finch - one of Glasgow's most-loved venues - have delivered an all-action flavour-packed menu returning the very best of south east Asian cuisine to the west end of Glasgow."
Congratulations to the teams at both restaurants for their incredibly well deserved awards today - if you haven't had a chance to visit Celentano's or Ka Pao yet, make sure you book up.
