Two former Spartans selected in 2023 XFL rookie draft

XFL Spartans Matt Carrick Michigan State

Michigan State has had two former Spartans selected in the 2023 XFL rookie draft. Former offensive lineman Matt Carrick and Jarret Horst were both selected to play in the XFL.

Horst was selected by the Orlando Guardians, while Carrick was selected by the D.C. Defenders. Both former Spartans will look to play their way into an NFL contract.
