  • Two Florida men were arrested after allegedly kidnapping and robbing a buyer during a Facebook Marketplace transaction in Doral on October 9.
  • The victim met a seller to purchase phones when an armed accomplice hidden in the backseat forced him into a white BMW at gunpoint.
  • The victim escaped the moving vehicle by throwing his satchel filled with $4,000 in cash out the window to distract the gunman.
  • Suspects Lazaro Nunez-Martinez and Darian Ernesto Morejon-Rodriguez face charges of grand theft, tampering, armed robbery, and armed kidnapping.
  • Doral police advised the public to use secure meeting locations, such as police station lobbies, when completing online transactions with strangers.
