Two drug dealers have been jailed for supplying class A drugs in Camden after a stash of crack and heroin worth tens of thousands of pounds was discovered in a police raid.

Jorjo Tamea, 32, and 23-year-old Ali Said were arrested after police stormed their home in Finchley Road, north London, and found drugs worth more than £30,000.

Police also found lare amounts of cash when the warrant was executed on October 27, along with a £33,000 Rolex watch and designer jackets worth around £5,000.

“There was also evidence that while the drugs they were supplying were creating hardship and misery for others, Tamea and Said were indulging in a lavish lifestyle,” said a Met Police spokesperson.

The men both pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property at a hearing on October 28.

Wood Green Crown Court heard how both men were involved in supplying crack cocaine and heroin through Camden using the AJ drugs line which was set up in early 2022.

Officers from the Central North Gangs Unit began a proactive investigation in July to dismantle the line and arrest those involved in running it - and quickly identified Tamea and Said as the key players.

On Tuesday, Tamea was jailed for four years, and Said for three years.

Detective Constable Anthony Shine said: “Tamea and Said did not care that the drugs they pushed were causing misery to vulnerable people and the wider community in Camden.

“They accumulated money and spent it on themselves, without a second thought for the devastation their actions caused.

“I am glad they have been held to account for their actions and I hope this sends a clear message to others who chose to engage in the drug trade that you will be put before the courts to pay the price for your activities.”
