Two people have allegedly died following an incident at a Pennsylvania campaign rally where former President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was rushed off stage with blood on his face after gunshots were heard on Saturday.

Butler County district attorney Richard Goldinger said that "the suspected gunman was dead, and at least one rally attendee was killed," in a phone interview with the Associated Press. According to him, one of them is the alleged shooter, and the other is a person who was attending the rally.

CBS News campaign reporter Jake Rosen interviewed a witness who said he was an ER physician and had performed CPR on a victim with a head wound.

"I heard the shots. I thought it was firecrackers, to begin with," he said. "Somebody over there was screaming; he's been shot. He's been shot. So, I made my way over. I said I'm an emergency department physician. Let me help you. The guy spun around and was jammed between the benches. He had a headshot here. There's lots of blood, and he had brain matter there."

CBS Pittsburgh reports a medivac helicopter landed at Allegheny Allegheny General Hospital and an individual was quickly brought into the hospital. The person's identity and condition are not known. A small number of police were seen outside the hospital.
