A 17-year-old-boy and a 12-year-old girl have died following an incident in the water at Bournemouth beach.
Ten people, all thought to be children, were pulled from the sea in a "major incident" on Wednesday, May 31. Two air ambulances, six ambulances, a critical care team and police were among the emergency services who attended at around 4.30pm.
Both the teenage boy and the girl were taken to hospital but were pronounced dead a short time later. The other eight people were treated by the ambulance service for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
