Two cases of a rare rat-born disease have been discovered in the UK for the first time in over 10 years, according to the UK Health Security Agency.
The potentially deadly Lassa Fever was detected in two people with a third person currently being checked and tested by medics.
The three people are all part of the same household and had recently returned to the UK from West Africa having travelled abroad.
