Two bodies recovered from water in Donegal following separate incidents

The bodies of two men have been found in water in Co Donegal.

Gardaí confirmed the discoveries were made following separate incidents on Wednesday.

The first incident occurred in Letterkenny while the other happened at Drumkeen, Convoy.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: "A man’s body, aged in his late 50s, was removed from the water at Drumkeen, Convoy, Co. Donegal yesterday , 1st March, 2023."

The spokesperson added: "Separately, a man’s body, aged in his late 40s, was removed from the water at Port Bridge, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal yesterday, 1st March, 2023."

Gardai said no further information is available at present.
