Arsenal were given the perfect chance to assess their transfer targets in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Joao Felix and Darwin Nunez both passed with flying colours.
Nunez played at Anfield in the second leg for Benfica and was a major threat. His excellent performance was topped off by a well-taken goal to put the match level at 3-3.
Felix was also impressive for Atletico Madrid against Manchester City. Despite not scoring against Pep Guardiola’s side, he remained a major threat to the opposition defence, and showed that he has the physicality to be able to compete in the Premier League.
