Two arrested for burglarizing home of couple killed in Kenya helicopter crash

  • The suspects allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in items, including a $500,000 sculpture, personal documents, and two luxury vehicles.
  • Investigators traced the stolen property to a Miami-Dade residence using location tracking from a stolen MacBook and a Land Rover.
  • A defense attorney presented a document claiming Garcia had permission to enter the home, but police and a family friend identified the paperwork as fraudulent.
  • Judge Mindy Glazer ordered both suspects held without bond on charges including grand theft and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
