The accused have been identified as Jaybir (26) and Aman (21), residents of Bhiwani. According to police, the duo claimed the act was a “planned attempt to recover money” they believed was owed to them.
Jaybir, who runs a transport business in Hisar, told investigators that the victim was a former friend. He alleged that in 2024 he had sold a truck and kept the cash from the sale inside his car, which he claims the victim later stole. Jaybir further stated that despite repeated demands, the money was not returned over the past two years.
