Twitter has announced it will start trialling an edit button for tweets.
The social media giant made the announcement on Tuesday (April 5) saying that it has "been working on an edit feature since last year".
Earlier that day, billionaire Elon Musk who recently joined Twitter’s board of directors a day after taking a 9% stake in the social media platform had tweeted a tongue in cheek poll asking users if they want an edit button on the platform.
