During the 2019 college football season, then Alabama transfer Jalen Hurts became the 11th Oklahoma Sooner invited to New York since Heisman Trophy finalists were first named in 1982.
During his one season in Norman, Hurts compiled 4,889 yards of total offense (3,634 passing, 1,255 rushing).
The runner-up to Joe Burrow, Hurts channeled that Heisman spirit after he threw a jump pass to Dallas Goedert that put Philadelphia up 14-7 on the Washington Commanders.
After the score, Hurts struck the Heisman pose, and social media reacted.

The Eagles took a page from the Lane Kiffin playbook.
Faking the QB draw and pop pass to a would-be blocker is a common college trick play.
Eagles do it from empty after setting up the QB draw earlier in the game. Extremely cool football team. https://t.co/t71AotGZL0
