"He's got big-time upside, but I'll also say he's a really good player right now." – Tomlin on Broderick Jones

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said when he met with some former Bulldogs at Georgia’s Pro Day last year, he asked them who was an up-and-coming guy to look out for.
Broderick Jones is the name that came up. Just over a year later, Jones is the newest member of the Steelers

Steelers made the right decision on prioritizing protecting Kenny Pinkett the QB with Broderick Jones from Georgia. #NFLDraft

Broderick Jones is a smart pick for Pittsburgh. Crazy athletic ability. He needs some little things here and there to be coached up, though. Part of that is because doesn't have a ton of experience due to how much talent Georgia has had on their roster recently.

Broderick Jones is the fourth Georgia offensive lineman to be taken in the first round and 10th overall since 2017.
From 2003-2016, UGA had 10 offensive lineman and just one first rounder taken in the NFL draft. pic.twitter.com/1hGkmh4ho7

Broderick Jones allowed 0 sacks on 470 pass-blocking snaps in 2022 at Georgia, per PFF.
Huge pick for the future of the Steelers' OL.

Steelers fans, you got arguably the most physically talented OL in the class in Broderick Jones (size-power-AA). He is raw, young and inexperienced, but got progressively better in 2022 with his best football likely ahead of him.

#Steelers are taking Georgia OT Broderick Jones, getting perhaps a franchise OT for Kenny Pickett. @937theFan
