Coronation Street actress Charlotte Jordan has teased a romance ahead for Daisy and Ryan.
The pair have bonded since both being caught in a horrifying acid attack on the social media influencer by her evil stalker Justin. Ryan jumped in front of Daisy and saved her from being hit by the corrosive liquid, but he took the full brunt.
He has since had a look at his injuries and is struggling to cope with what it means for his future, and for his dream to head to Ibiza and live out his dream life as a DJ. His love interest Crystal also wants nothing to do with him.
However, Daisy has been posing as Crystal and sending Ryan messages, in order to not have him lose too much hope.
A romance is set to blossom for the pair but Daisy is still very much in love with Daniel.
She told Metro of what's to come: "It's going to be a really confusing time for Daisy. She’s brushed her own recovery under the rug and is really focusing on Ryan. She feels responsible for him so her feelings are going to get really messy and she’s going to get confused it’s going to get quite chaotic. Then the story may morph into a 'can you love two people at once?' storyline."
However, with Daniel and Daisy still very much engaged, these sparks could cause problems.
"There are different ways it can go but it does get very complicated. There’s this thing that happens when you endure extreme trauma with someone, it kind of bonds you together," Ryan Prescott, who plays the bartender added.
"So there is potential between Ryan and Daisy for sparks to happen and things to occur. Obviously she’s with Daniel and that’s why there’s so much complication but there is potential in the future for complications there, 100%."
Whatever happens, it's been a very tough time for both of them - and we known Ryan will definitely not be with Alya.
Actress Sair Khan - who plays Alya - said: "She is trying to be sensitive but she’s in shock, seeing someone she cares about so deeply in so much pain. It’s been really difficult for her and it’s been quite hard for her to hide her reaction. For now, it is the end for Ryan and Alya because as soon as Ryan tells Alya that he loves her, Alya has to put up a boundary to protect herself from getting hurt again."
