TV presenter Danielle Nicholls and her husband Dean Holden have suffered heartache like no other.
Only now, after almost a decade of trying to piece their lives back together, do they feel able to talk about what happened.
The childhood sweethearts grew up together in Swinton, Manchester, and first found fame in the late 1990s - with Danielle becoming the popular face of CITV alongside Stephen Mulhern, while former professional footballer Dean was enlisted into Bolton Wanderers' first team.
