Prominent TV personality Michael Strahan and his 19-year-old daughter, Isabella, made a heartfelt announcement on Good Morning America recently. They revealed that Isabella is battling a brain tumor called medulloblastoma. This rare form of cancer affects a few hundred people annually, with just under 4,000 individuals living with the tumor.
Medulloblastoma is considered a malignant tumor, implying that it has the potential to spread within the brain or to the spinal cord and the fluid around the brain. Typically, it manifests at the back of the brain. Medical images shown during the announcement provided a visual representation of the tumor, illustrating the abnormal white mass in the affected area.
