The nearly three-decade mystery surrounding the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur has taken a major turn after a Las Vegas jury found former gang leader Duane “Keffe D” Davis guilty of orchestrating the killing.
Davis, 63, was convicted on August 31, 2026, in the first murder conviction in the case that has remained one of hip-hop's biggest unsolved mysteries. The jury reached its verdict after less than three hours of deliberation. Davis faces the possibility of life in prison.
