Tunisia is the place to go if you're looking for a cheap package holiday, new research suggests.
The North African country took the top spot for being the most budget-friendly, with a seven-night break averaging £576 per person, including flights, hotels and transfers.
The Riviera Hotel Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia is a particularly good deal, costing just £373pp for seven nights from 5 June, departing from Bristol with easyJet.
After the tragic beach massacre of 2015 which saw terrorists kill 60 people in Tunisia decimated the tourism trade there, the country has slowly been attracting people back.
From a high of 500,000 British visitors in 2014 which fell to 30,000 three years later, 378,000 Brits visited the country in 2019, with numbers expected to rise still further post-lockdowns.
The country has a huge amount to offer, including some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world, the ruins of Carthage and Thuburbo Majus.
A visit to Tozeur, an oasis town in the south of Tunisia which known for its palm groves and desert-like landscape, is a must, as is a journey to the magnificent Sahara Desert.

Bulgaria and Morocco were the second and third most affordable destinations, according to the loveholidays research.
Offering summer travel-seekers a perfect mix of sun and sightseeing to enjoy, these destinations average £636 and £701 per person respectively for a week-long getaway.
Mediterranean hotspots Malta and mainland Spain rounded out the top five, with travellers able to experience a slice of European sunshine at an average of £714 and £750 per person per week to the respective destinations this summer.
Holidaymakers can also enjoy the culinary delights of Italy for just £753 per person, with a week-long holiday to the European country in sixth most affordable place.
The Balearic Islands, known for their scenic coastlines and heavenly coves, secured the seventh position (£765 per person), while holidaymakers can enjoy the wonders of the Adriatic coastline in Montenegro for an average of £773.
Other affordable 2023 summer destinations include the Canary Islands (£776) and France (£792), offering travellers week-long holidays at great prices this summer.
