Furious passengers have slammed holiday operator Tui for 'utter chaos' which culminated in them learning their holiday had been cancelled by text.
Hundreds of people who were due to board the 3.45pm flight from Manchester Airport on Saturday have been left high and dry, Manchester Evening News reports. Families planning a half-term getaway say they initially faced a gruelling four-hour wait to get through check-in and security, followed by a four-hour flight delay 'waiting for a pilot'.
But after enduring a further four hours of waiting, families were suddenly informed their entire trips were cancelled.
