TUI customers' food poisoning 'hell' on New Year holiday at four-star Lanzarote hotel

A group of friends claim their New Year holiday turned into a nightmare after being struck down with food poisoning.

Kazimierz Kurowski and Nicola Kurowska, 40, and their friends John and Joann Williams, booked an all inclusive holiday to Hotel Rio Playa Blanca in Lanzarote to celebrate New Year.

The group paid £3,000 for the holiday through TUI but claim it quickly turned to disaster when they picked up food poisoning just days after arriving.
