A newly married couple have been left distraught after their honeymoon was cancelled due to last-minute flight changes. Jovita and Jannie Conradie had been due to enjoy a dream trip to Mauritius after tying the knot.
Jovita, 39, and Jannie, 42, got hitched on May 8 after being together for two years. And they were set to celebrate it with a 10-day break to the paradise destination.
But nine days after their ceremony, just a week before they were due to fly, they received an email explaining that a leg of the flight had been cancelled. They were left with the choice of stumping up an extra £2,000 to rebook on the same day, or have the holiday cancelled, reports the Mirror.
