Tuesday’s sport: What’s on and where can I watch it?

Sunrisers Leeds and London Spirit do battle at Headingley in The Hundred.

Action also continues at the National Bank Open tennis events in Montreal and Toronto.

Here’s what is happening in the sporting world on Tuesday – and where you can catch the action in the UK.

Sunrisers take on Spirit

The action is hotting up in The Hundred with places in the top three up for grabs.

Sunrisers Leeds and London Spirit are both running out of time to climb the table in the men’s and women’s competitions so there is plenty at stake at Headingley.

Coverage of the women’s match begins on BBC Two England and Sky Sports Cricket at 1445 and Sky Sports Main Event at 1500, while the men’s contest is on the same channels from 1800.

The big names enter the arena at the National Bank Open in Canada, with second-round matches kicking off in the men’s tournament in Montreal and the women’s event in Toronto.

Coverage on Sky Sports Tennis begins at 1600, with Sky Sports Main Event joining from 2130.

It is day three at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad as the West Indies attempt to claim another victory over Pakistan in the second Test. Coverage begins on TNT Sports 2 at 1430.

Top-level padel comes to the UK for the first time, with live action at the London Premier Padel P1 on TNT Sports 5 from 1000.

1976: Women played cricket at Lord’s for the first time, an England teambeating their Australian counterparts by eight wickets in a limited-oversmatch.

2008: Kevin Pietersen was named as England’s new Test and one-day captain.

2012: Jessica Ennis-Hill (heptathlon), Greg Rutherford (long jump) and Mo Farah (10,000 metres) all claimed gold at the London Olympics in the space of 46 minutes on ‘Super Saturday’, with Team GB also winning three golds in rowing and cycling earlier in the day.
