Firebombers have targeted a car linked to a businessman whose home was previously attacked in a posh village.

The latest incident at a rented home in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, where a new £42,000 BMW 420 Coupe was destroyed , leaving neighbours at Pailis Crescent shaken.

The fire came just a year after Alan’s luxury “ mancave ” was set ablaze in the garden of his home in McGuire Gate.

Scots mum hit police officer with glass bottle during Rangers title party

Stephanie Donaldson, 30, hurled it at an unknown officer who formed part of a cordon in Glasgow city centre's George Square on May 15, 2021.

Brit woman 'raped on beach in front of husband after man offered her massage’

A British tourist was allegedly raped in front of her partner while on holiday in India, local media reports.

The woman was allegedly attacked by a man at the famous Sweet Lake in Goa on June 2.

Authorities confirmed yesterday that a 32-year-old suspect had been arrested over the alleged rape.

Love Island fans stunned by Gemma Owen's age and call for change to show

Fans of ITV's hit reality TV show Love Island were introduced to the fresh batch of singletons on Monday night's opening episode. This was the first opportunity for viewers to get to know the first arrivals into the villa.

Upon first being briefed on the five girls, one of them sparked a great amount of conversation simply by revealing her age. Gemma Owen, son of former footballer Michael, stated in her VT that she was just 19 years old - duly becoming the baby of the group.

So much was the commotion that the term "she's 19" was even trending on Twitter . While some viewers questioned her eligibility on the programme, others were comparing what they were doing at the same age.

Doctors amazed by experimental cancer drug that 'cures' every patient in trial

An experimental cancer drug has shown promising success, apparently curing all the patients involved in its trial.

The drug , called dostarlimab, may provide a cure for a form of rectal cancer with 100% of the 18 participants seemingly overcoming the condition with minimal side effects.

The participants received the drug every three weeks for six months for the study which was carried out by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).
