It's been an eventful seven days for the Blues, who after victory over Lille in the Champions League, saw Roman Abramovich hand over 'stewardship' of Chelsea to the club's foundation before taking on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
There's barely time to catch a breath before Thomas Tuchel's side travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton Town on Wednesday evening.
As always with Chelsea, there is plenty to talk about with the side's struggle to embed Andreas Christensen, the still dwindling contracts of Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen, in addition to more serious off-field issues.
Much remains up in the air in the club following Abramovich's statement on the eve of the cup final.
He said: "During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the Club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities.
"I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC.
"I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the Club, players, staff, and fans."
