The London Underground and Elizabeth Line are suffering serious disruption due to a number of issues.
This morning, six Tube lines were either fully suspended or partly suspended.
Nine hours later, the TfL network is still trying to get back on its feet. There is widespread disruption including severe delays on the Circle and District lines following earlier suspensions.
Meanwhile, the Mildmay line is also subject to severe delays.
Elizabeth line trains to and from Heathrow have also been disrupted - initially due to flooding caused by heavy overnight rain, and then by a fire alert.

Jubilee line delays

There are severe delays on the Jubilee line, according to TfL.
The disruption, due to a faulty train at Canary Wharf station, is affecting the entire line.
Tickets are being accepted on buses, the DLR and the Elizabeth line.
Tufnell Park station closed

Transport for London has not yet said when the station will reopen.

Passengers are being reminded that there is a reduced train service in and out of Euston due to the extreme weather conditions.
“Passengers should expect disruption across the network,” said Network Rail.
In addition, many operators are advising against non-essential travel.

Delays still widespread across TfL network

The TfL network is still suffering a multitude of delays on numerous lines at 1:30pm on Monday.
The Circle line is back up and running, but subject to severe delays. There are also severe delays on the Met line and the District line.
Train operators advising "essential travel only"

As the heatwave grips the capital, some train operators are advising against travel due to the soaring temperatures.
Red and amber weather warnings are in place for extreme heat until Thursday 25 June.
National Rail has advised passengers on Wednesday or Thursday to “only travel if absolutely necessary,” and to check before travelling on Tuesday and Friday.

Hot weather is already scheduled to impact rail services today, with Southern trains unable to run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction from 2pm today due to the weather.

The Bakerloo line has now reopened between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone following the earlier signal failure at Harlesden.
That part of the line is now running with severe delays, with minor delays on the rest of the line.
Rail services recommend not to travel on Wednesday and Thursday

A number of rail services operating in and out of London are recommending passengers not to travel on Wednesday and Thursday due to the heatwave.
LNER, Great Western Railway, Chiltern, and South Western Railway, are all strongly recommending users not travel across their routes on June 24 and 25.
Many other operators are advising passengers to travel earlier in the day to avoid the worst of the heat.
'Only travel if absolutely necessary' during heatwave

National Rail are warning customer to only travel if absolutely necessary during this week’s heatwave.
Temperatures expected to remain high until at least Saturday June 27, with highs of up to 38°C are possible in some areas.

A “signal system failure” is chasing major issues on the Circle, District, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines.
As of 7.10am, the Circle line is fully suspended.
The District line has no service between Whitechapel and Wimbledon, Kensington (Olympia), Edgware, Ealing Broadway and Richmond, as well as severe delays between Upminster and Whitechapel.
There is no service between Baker Street and Aldgate on the Metropolitan line, while there is also no service between Barking and Liverpool Street on the Hammersmith & City line, and severe delays on the rest of the line.
Tickets are being accepted on London buses, as well as the Mildmay Line, DLR, Elizabeth line, c2c and South Western Railway services.
