Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra are not preparing for any reality dance show. But they got all their foot movements recorded by a camera during practice recently. After all, it takes two to tango even in the table tennis mixed doubles competition, and the duo is not ready to take any wrong step in the run-up to the Commonwealth Games.
It has been a happy bonhomie for the Indian duo since they decided to pair up once again after the Tokyo Olympics. They clicked instantly during their first outing together, by winning the World Table Tennis Contenders title in Budapest, Hungary. Thereafter, they made the semifinals of the Contenders event in Tunisia and the quarterfinals of the World Championships in Houston last year.
