Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. posted record monthly revenue in August, offering another sign that the artificial intelligence boom is racking up extraordinary demand for the advanced chips powering data centers around the world.
TSMC, the world's largest contract chipmaker, reported revenue of 514.8 billion New Taiwan dollars, or approximately $16.35 billion, for August. That represented a 53.3% increase from the same month a year earlier and a 10.1% jump from July.
