The Trump administration said Tuesday that it had cancelled 315,000 Affordable Care Act marketplace enrolments covering roughly 760,000 people across the United States, presenting the move as an Obamacare fraud purge led by Vice President JD Vance.
The news came after administration officials said more than 750,000 enrollees had received subsidies without meeting eligibility rules or had identities that could not be verified. Those affected will lose marketplace coverage, while another roughly 419,000 to 450,000 cases remain under review.
