Iran getting more and more 'serious', says Trump in indication of not launching major operations right now

With the conflict in West Asia edging into its fifth month, US President Donald Trump on Friday said that Washington is not yet ready to up the ante in the war against Iran. The US President added that diplomatic engagement with Tehran has become "more serious" despite fresh military exchanges between the two rival powers.

Asked whether he had approved a major operation against Tehran, Trump gave a clear answer: not yet. "No I haven't," Trump told journalists on the matter.
