US President Donald Trump issued a warning for Yemen’s Houthi rebels over attacks on Saudi Arabia, accusing them of attempting to drive up oil prices ahead of the US elections and acting at Iran’s behest.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the Houthis had remained silent for a long time after the US bombed their positions last year but had now re-emerged “in a very nasty way”.
