US President Donald Trump signed a proclamation to impose 25% tariffs on auto imports. He also said that his planned reciprocal tariffs on other countries would be less than expected. Both tariffs will take effect on 2 April.
“What we’re going to be doing is a 25% tariff on all cars that are not made in the United States,” he said at the White House on Wednesday.
