Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to hold an outdoor rally in Las Vegas on Sunday, marking his first public appearance since his recent conviction. The rally comes after a Manhattan jury found him guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. Trump's campaign has been active, with recent stops in Arizona and California for fundraising events.
The Las Vegas rally poses a unique challenge due to the extreme temperatures expected. The event will take place at Sunset Park, where temperatures are forecasted to reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit. In response, the campaign is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of attendees. This includes doubling the number of emergency medical staff on-site and providing 38,000 water bottles, misting fans, and additional resources to expedite security checks.
