During a rally in Arizona, former President Donald Trump announced his plan to create an independent commission if elected, to investigate assassination attempts. The commission would be responsible for releasing all remaining documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Trump, joined by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the rally, referred to the commission as a tribute to Bobby Kennedy. RFK Jr. had just endorsed Trump hours before the announcement.
In addition to investigating the Kennedy assassination, the commission would also conduct a thorough review of the recent attempt on Trump's life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
Trump emphasized the importance of transparency and thorough investigation in these matters, highlighting the need to uncover the truth behind such significant events in history.
