Donald Trump's new America.gov AI chatbot told users that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, then briefly went offline and later refused to answer questions about the vote.

The tool was launched in Washington on Tuesday, 29 September, as the US government's proposed digital gateway to federal information and services.
