Leading conservative commentator Andy McCarthy tore into President Donald Trump for giving “aid and comfort” to Vladimir Putin, saying the administration’s latest concessions to Moscow should be “the last straw” for both Democrats and Republicans.
McCarthy, a former Fox News contributor who broke with the president following the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, shredded Trump’s failed “energy ceasefire” as well as the administration’s decision to drop sanctions on Russian diesel in a scathing column for National Review.
