US President Trump said Sunday via social media platform Truth Social that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an energy ceasefire. Neither Kyiv nor Moscow confirmed the agreement, with Zelensky later adding the development was "news for me. But if Russians agree to an energy ceasefire ... we are ready and we will accept it."

US President Donald Trump said in a brief statement Sunday that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to halt strikes on each other's energy infrastructure.
