Trump says he will ‘try’ to make his son, Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding but ‘it’s not good timing for me’

Donald Trump said that he will “try” to make his son’s wedding but the timing is “not good”.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday (21 May), the US president was asked if he will be attending the wedding of Donald Trump Jr, which is reportedly taking place in the Bahamas over Memorial Day weekend.

“I'm gonna try and make it... You know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran,” he said, before claiming that attending was a lose-lose situation for him.

“If I do attend, I get killed. If I don't attend, I get killed, by the fake news of course I'm talking about.”
