- President Donald Trump has claimed that his administration is close to toppling Cuba's communist government.
- “Cuba is gonna fall pretty soon,” Trump told CNN correspondent Dana Bash Friday. Trump's statement follows the successful removal of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
- “They want to make a deal, and so I’m going to put Marco [Rubio] over there and we’ll see how that works out,” Trump continued. “We’re really focused on this one right now. We’ve got plenty of time, but Cuba’s ready — after 50 years.”
- U.S. and Israeli warplanes launched an air campaign Saturday that has plunged the Middle East into chaos and left Tehran scrambling to choose a new supreme leader.
- At least 1,332 people have been killed in the attacks, including six U.S. service members, and Trump and his defense secretary Pete Hegseth said the war could rage on for weeks until all U.S. objectives are met.
